- דְּיוּקְתָּאf. (דוק) the examination of family records required for pure marriages (v. בָּדַק); in gen. family record. B. Mets.59b (prov.) דזקיף … בדְיוּקְתֵּיהוכ׳, quot. Yalk. Ex. 349 (ed. בדיותקיה, Ms. M. בריסתקי, Ms. H. בדוּקְתֵּיה, Ms. F. בדותקיה, , v. Rabb. D. S. a. l. note) if there is a case of hanging in ones family record, say not to him, Hang this fish up for me.
